Meidän uus asunto! / Our new apartment!

Sari tässä moikka! Ollaan vihdoin kotiuduttu ja saatu kämppä valmiiksi, muutamaa pientä juttua lukuunottamatta. Tosiaan, muutettiin saman kaupungin sisällä vähän pienempään asuntoon näin opiskeluvuosien ajaksi. Koko alue ja asunto on tuntunut heti kotoisalta, tosin itse oon asunut täällä koko lapsuuteni että ei sinänsä ihme. Mutta joo, jaarittelut sikseen ja kuvia kehiin!

Hey everyone, Sari here! We have finally settled into our new apartment, just a few things need a bit of adjusting. We moved to another, smaller apartment in the same town for the time we're gonna be studying. The area and apartment have immediately felt like home, which at least for me is not surprising, since I have lived here my whole childhood. Anyway, enough jibber jabber, let's look at some photos!  

              

Tässä ulko-ovesta ja meidän "avainpöydästä" kuvaa. Tykätään pitää avaimet ja eniten käytetyt aurinkolasit helposti saatavilla. Lipastosta löytyy muuten vaan muuta roinaa :D

Here's pictures of our front door and "key desk". We like to keep our keys and mostly used sunglasses easily available. In the drawer there's just some random junk :D

                  

 

Ovesta heti vasemmalla on naulakko ja siivouskomero. Kiva upgrade edelliseen asuntoon verrattuna, siellä kun ei ollut ollenkaan eteistä. Pelkkä vaatekomero vaan käytävän varrella. 

Toinen suuri plussa löytyy heti naulakon vieressä sijaitsevasta vessasta, eli kylpyamme! Tää on ollu pitkään meidän molempien unelma ja se että se toteutui näin pian on vaan huippua! Vessa on muuten tilava, vaikka kaappitilaa on suht vähän. Sekä lattia ja seinät voisivat olla kaakeloidut, mutta näillä mennään.

Left from the door there's a coat rack and a cleaning closet. It's a nice upgrade compared to the old apartment since there was no proper entry at all, just a closet in the corridor.

Another big plus can be found in the bathroom next to the coat rack, a bath tub! We have dreamed of a bath tub for a long time and it's awesome that we got one so soon! The bathroom is quite roomy, even though there's not a lot of closet space. The floors and walls could also be made of tiles, but oh well.

                  

 

Noniin, sitten näkymää suoraan ovesta olohuoneeseen päin. Vasemmalla on meidän vaatekaapit (asunto on tosiaan yksiö, eli ei löydy erillistä makkaria) joiden kanssa oli hieman taistelua saada molempien vaatteet mahtumaan. Sitten päädyttiin karsimaan suoraan kaikki paksuimmat villapaidat sun muut ja pakattiin varastoon. 

Oikealla seinustalla meidän manga-hylly ja vieraiden tervetulokomitea :D Nää kaks kaverusta on sen verran valtavia, ettei muualta tilaa löytynyt. 

Alright, then there's the view from our front door to the living room. On the left there's our clothes closets (this is a single-room apartment, so there's no actual bedroom) and we had to really fight to get all of our clothes in there. We ended up packing our biggest pullovers etc and taking them downstairs to the storage. 

On the right you can see our manga-shelf and our welcoming committee :D These two buddies are so big that they couldn't fit anywhere else.

Pientä lisatilaa vaatteille rekillä. Takana paperipussissa kaikki k-pop keikka dvd:t.

Meidän "makkari" :) Alkovi saatiin harmaaksi, niin pysyy vähän hämärämpänä aamusin. Hyvin on uni tullut tässä parin viikon aikana!

Our "bed room" :) We got our landlord to make the alcove's walls gray, so it's a bit dimmer in the morning. We've slept really well these past two weeks!

        

 

Heti sängyn vieressä on Mariannen työpiste (vitsi vitsi, meidän pöytäkone) ja muut konerojut mm. piirtopöydät. Tässä hoidetaan videomuokkaukset ja suurin osa blogijutuista, vaikka paljon tehdään myös läppäreillä. Pelikoneeksi tuo alunperin hankittiin, mutta hyvä että löytyy muutakin käyttöä ;)

Koneesta vasemmalla sohvan vierestä löytyy meidän lautapelikokoelma. Vihdoin saatu esille niin tulee ehkä pelailtua enemmänkin. Myös "selätin" ja painot on jätetty esille ihan vaan muistuttamaan, että niitä saa myös käyttää :D 

Right next to the bed there's Marianne's office (just kidding, our pc) and other computer stuff, for example drawing tables. Here we edit our videos and do most of our blogging, although we use our laptops a lot too. We bought the pc originally for gaming, but it's good that we can use it for a lot of stuff ;)

Left to the computer, next to our sofa there's our board game collection. Finally we got all of them on display, so we might actually play more often. There's also our work out stuff to remind us to well, work out :D

Vuorossa olohuone. Levitettävä sohva on ihan must, sillä meillä käy usein yövieraita. Sitten tietysti löytyy meidän "viihdekeskus", jonka edessä vietetään suurin osa vapaa-ajasta joko leffoja/sarjoja katsellen tai pelaillen. Tv-taso oli yksi harvoista uusista hankinnoista, sillä edellisen asunnon taso oli aivan liian suuri tähän kämppään ja se löysi uuden paikkansa mun siskolta.

Here's our living room. A convertible sofa is a must for us, since we get a lot of night guests. Then there's of course our "entertainment station", and we spend a lot of our free time in front of it, either watching movies/TV-series or playing video games. The TV-stand was one of the few new things we bought in this apartment. The one we had in the old apartment was way too big for this apartment. The old one found a new home from my sister's home.

Tv-sarjojen ja lempparilevyjen hylly. Kirjahylly pilkottaa vierestä.

Koriste-esineet ja mun jalkapalloaikojen palkinnot saatiin nätisti ikkunalaudalle.

BTS-alttari. Ja ei, emme ole niitä hulluja ARMY:ja jotka vihaavat muita bändejä.

Meikkinurkkaus! Pakollinen oma alueensa. Tämmönen mukava pieni kolo jäi sohvan taakse, mihin meidän pöytä mahtu just sopivasti. Myös luonnonvalo ylettää joten näkee mitä todellisuudessa naamallensa iskee. 

Our make up corner! This area is also a must. There was a nice tiny space for our make up- table behind our sofa. The lighting is good there so you can see what you're really doing to your face in natural lighting.

Viimeisenä pientä sneak peek:ia keittiöstä, joka on vielä kesken. Tehdään siitä sitten omaa postausta, kun saadaan se kokonaan valmiiksi. Shout out batman-patakintaalle, joka löyty vahingossa Anttilan loppuunmyynnistä viime vuonna.

Siinä olis sitten meidän pikkuinen koti, mitäs piditte? Tässä olis tarkotus asua opiskelujen ajan eli varmaan se 3-4? vuotta. Tullaan varmasti viihtymään :) 

Last here's a sneak peek of our kitchen which is still a bit undone. We'll make another post of it later when we get it finished. Shout out for our Batman-oven glove, which we got from Anttila's clearance sale last year.

That's it, this is our tiny new home, what do you think? We're going to be living here at least the whole time we'll be studying, so 3 to 4 years. We'll definitely enjoy our time here :)
